TriPollar® is the only RF technology in the industry which allows multiple RF electrodes to work at the same time. The technology was named “TriPollar” because the first TriPollar applicator included 3 electrodes. In the OxyGeneo system, the TriPollar® applicator includes 4 electrodes that work together to create 4 heat fields inside the skin simultaneously. For comparison, mono/bi-polar create only one heat field at any given time.
